At that time if you lived between the two cities, you could get a "metro" number that would not be a long distance phone call from ether Midland or Odessa. That is why it is listed as Terminal TX. I gave it to someone else to run after I left for college, I don't recall his name. I know several people kept it running and it passed from one Sysop to another.
